Charcoal is one of the wood products covered by the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Importers placing it on the EU market must show it does not come from recently deforested land and was produced legally.
What that means in practice
- Geolocation of the land where the wood was grown.
- Evidence the wood was harvested legally.
- A due-diligence statement filed by the importer.
What we provide
Due-diligence information for our wood sources, so your filing has what it needs. Ask for it when you request a quote for an EU port.
